Investments Team

The Investment Management Department consists of qualified and experienced Investment Managers who work alongside Investment Executives and Administrators to deliver a high-quality, personal service to clients. The department is responsible for managing bespoke portfolios on both an advisory and discretionary basis. Furthermore, the department incorporates Investment Research and Investment Risk, who provide best-in-class investment analysis and portfolio monitoring to ensure excellent outcomes for clients.

Morven Whyte – Investment Manager

“First and foremost are the delightful and often very interesting characters that make up my client bank to whom I serve.  A close second is the eclectic bunch of wonderful colleagues.  The combination of the two and the fact that everyday stock markets throw up new challenges is what I enjoy.”

Dealing Team

The primary role of a Stockbroker is to service the needs of execution-only clients with the support of a team of Trainee Stockbrokers and Dealing Assistants. This includes a whole range of account management activities, in addition to taking instructions from the client to buy or sell securities and arranging for these orders to be executed on the relevant market(s).

Excellent communication skills are vital in this role as we strive to meet the Redmayne Bentley mission ‘To provide excellent personal investment services that enhance clients’ wealth.’

To become a fully qualified stockbroker, you will be expected to study for and pass several examinations to attain the CISI Investment Advice Diploma.

Evelyn Johnston – Stockbroker

“I believe the high quality of the staff at Redmayne Bentley is what makes it such a great place to work. They are a great asset to the firm. I have been here for 15 years, and I’ve received great support and interaction from everyone.”

Lewis Jeng – Stockbroker

“Since starting in 2014 as an apprentice, I have progressed from Operations Apprentice to a Dealing Assistant, to Trainee Dealer and now I am a fully qualified Stockbroker. I can see there is clear progression in my job role along with the ability to undertake professional exams. To date I have been able to complete the Level 3 IOC and Level 4 IAD qualifications through CISI.”

Alice Spinola – Trainee Dealer

“Following a successful and positive experience during my placement year, I was keen to return to Redmayne Bentley after university. A role as a Trainee Dealer has allowed me to pursue a career in the industry while completing my CISI level 4 exams in a supportive environment. The culture throughout the whole company, but especially in the Dealing team, is supportive and welcoming.”
